So that the S&C Micro-AT Source-Transfer Control is
ready for automatic operation, make sure that both
source voltage indicating lamps and the automatic-trans-
fer “ready” indicating lamp are illuminated. If the
“READY” lamp is not lighted, refer to the liquid-crystal
display on the faceplate of the Micro-AT control. When
not being used to show menu information, this display
shows messages explaining why the lamp is not lighted.
NOTE: A lighted “READY” lamp indicates that the
status of associated components is normal, but an
absence of illumination does not necessarily mean that
the control is inoperative. For example, when transfer
to the alternate source occurs, the lamp extinguishes
but the control is ready for any subsequent pro-
grammed automatic operation required by a change in
source conditions. Likewise, if the stored-energy opera-
tors are decoupled, the “READY” lamp is extin-
guished—and the switches will not operate—but the
control is fully operative.
Close and padlock the access doors to the low-voltage
control compartment and high-voltage compartments.
