AM loop antenna connection
Connect the cord of the accessory AM {oop an-
tenna to the AMLOOP antenna terminals, and
attach it to the accessory antenna holder. Peel
off the adhesive tape on the reverse side of the
antenna holder and attach it to a wall or pillar
with the range of the loop antenna cord. When
tuning into AM stations, move the antenna to
the left or right and set it in the direction which
yields the optimum reception.
AM reception is not possible with the loop
antenna detached. Even if an outdoor AM
antenna is erected, keep this loop antenna
in place.
* Do not bring the power cord or the speaker
cords near the loop antenna since noise will
be generated.
FM antenna
Indoor T-shaped FM antenna
The T-shaped antenna included with the unit
is meant for temporary use until an outdoor FM
antenna is set up. Connect it to the FM 3000
ANTENNA terminals and open the arm ends to
forma ‘‘T’’ shape. While listening to a broad-
cast, hold the stretched ends and move around
until it is facing in the direction in which the sig-
nals come in strongest, then attach to wall or
ceiling.
Outdoor FM antenna
Installation of an outdoor FM antenna is recom-
mended for very high-quality FM reception.
¢ The lead-in cable should be of the 75-ohms
coaxial type, for it suppresses instrusion of
noise more effectively then the 300-ohms
twin lead type.
¢ The lead-in cable should be as short and as
far away from power lines as possible. Sim-
ply cut off the extra length, if any. Be sure
not to bundle it into a coil.
FM antenna connection
Use the FM 300-ohms terminals when connect-
ing the T-shaped FM feeder antenna supplied
or a 300-ohms {lead-in cable from an outdoor
antenna. Use the FM 75-ohms terminals when
connecting a 75-ohms coaxial cable from an
outdoor antenna.

cadre AM, et fixer l’antenne a |’aide du support
d’antenne fourni en accessoire.
Retirer le ruban adhésif qui recouvre |’envers
du support d’antenne, et le fixer sur un mur ou
une poutre dans la limite de la longueur du cor-
don d’antenne.
Lors de l'accord sur des emetteurs AM, dépla-
cer |’antenne vers la gauche ou vers la droite
et la régler dans la position qui procure une
teception optimale.
La réception AM n’est pas possible si
'antenne-cadre est détachée. Méme sil’on
dispose d'une antenne AM extérieure, lais-
ser cette antenne-cadre en place.
* Ne pas approcher le cordon d’alimentation
ou les cordons d‘enceinte de l’antenne-cadre
car ceci engendrerait des parasites.
Antenne FM
Antenne intérieure FM en T
L’antenne en T qui accompagne I’appareil est
prévue pour servir temporairement jusqu’a ins-
tallation d’une antenne FM extérieure. La rac-
corder aux bornes FM 3002 ANTENNA et ouvrir
ses deux bras pour former un ‘‘T’’. Tout en
écoutant une émission, tenir écartés les deux
bras de l’antenne et l’orienter dans la direction
ou les signaux sont fe plus puissant; la fixer
alors a un mur ou au plafond.
Antenne extérieure FM
L’installation d’une antenne FM extérieure est
recommandée pour obtenir une réception FM
de trés bonne qualité.
¢ Lec&ble de raccordement doit étre du type
coaxial de 75 ohms, car il supprime les bruits
intempenstifs plus sdrement que ceux du
type feeder de 300 ohms.
¢ Le cable d’amenée doit étre le plus court et
le plus loin possible des lignes d’alimenta-
tion. Il suffit de supprimer la longueur en
excés, quand ily lieu. S’assurer de ne pas
le mettre en boule.
Connexion de I’antenne FM
Utiliser les bornes FM de 300 ohms quand vous
connectez l’antenne feeder en forme de T four-
nie avec l'appareil, ou un cable de 300 ohms
provenant d’une antenne extérieure. Utiliser les
bornes FM de 75 ohms quand vous connectez
un cable 75 ohms provenant d’une antenne
extérieure.
Anschlu& der MW-Rahmenantenne
Das Kabel der mitgelieferten MW-
Rahmenantenne an die Anschlu&klemmen fur
die MW-Rahmenantenne anschlieRen und die
Antenne am mitgelieferten Antennenhaiter be-
festigen. Das Kiebeband auf der Rickseite ab-
ziehen und den Antennenhalter innerhalb der
Reichweite des Rahmenantennenkabels an ei-
ner Wand oder Saule anbringen.
Beim Abstimmen von MW-Sendern die Anten-
ne nach links oder rechts drehen und in der Stel-
lung stehenlassen, bei welcher der beste
Empfang erzielt wird.
MW-Empfang ist mit abgeléster Rahmenan-
tenne nicht mdglich. Diese Antenne daher
selbst bei Aufstellung einer MW-
Aufenantenne nicht vom Gerat abnehmen.
* Zur Vermeidung von Rauschen das Netzka-
bel und die Lautsprecherkabel nicht in die
Nahe der Rahmenantenne bringen.
UKW-Antenne
Zimmer-T-Antenne fur UKW
Die mitgelieferte T-formige-Antenne ist als
Ubergang gedacht, bis eine UKW-
Aulgenantenne aufgestellt wird. Die Drahte an
die Klemmen FM 3002 ANTENNA anschlieBen
und die Enden T-férmig ausbreiten. Die ausge-
streckten Enden wahrend einer Radiosendung
halten und umherbewegen, bis die Signale am
starksten empfangen werden, dann an Wand
oder Deckte befestigen.
UKW-AuBenantenne
Fur UKW-Empfang sehr hoher Qualitat wird die
installierung einer UKW-AuRenantenne emp-
fohlen.
* Die Antennenzuleitung sollte aus einem
75-Ohm-Koaxialkabel bestehen, da ein sol-
ches Kabel bessere Abschirmung als ein
300-Ohm Kabel mit Paarverseilung gewahr-
leistet.
° Das Zuleitungskabel sollte so kurz wie még-
lich sein und von Stromleitungen fernehal-
ten werden. Schneiden Sie eventuelle
Uberlangen einfach ab. Wickein Sie sie
nicht zu einer Rolle (Spule) zusammen.
Anschlu& der UKW-Antenne
Die mit FM 300 Ohm bezeichneten Klemmen
fir den Anschluf der mitgelieferten T-férmigen
UKW-Antenne bzw. der 300-Ohm-Zuleitung
von einer Auenantenne verwenden. Die
75-Ohm-Klemmen benutzen, wenn eine
75-Ohm-Antennenzuleitung von einer UKW-
Aul&enantenne verwendet wird.
