  Several factors can cause poor cooling performance in your Sanyo Air Conditioner. The air filter might be dirty or clogged, restricting airflow – clean it to improve performance. There could be a heat source or many people in the room, so try to eliminate the heat source. Ensure doors and windows are shut to keep heat out. Check for any obstacles near the air intake or discharge port and remove them to ensure good airflow. Also, verify that the thermostat isn't set too high for cooling and lower it if needed.
