Set the FUNCTION switch to CD.

number.

Press the OPEN/CLOSE button.
- The disc tray slides out.
“OPEN” appears on the display.

Place the disc with the label facing upon the disc tray.

Do not place 8 cm discs on the disc tray.
Place only 12 cm discs.
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to retract the
disc tray.
After the reading contents of the disc, the disc
indicator which is selected lights.
NOTE:
Do not put anything except a 12 cm disc on the tray.
Do not touch the disc tray while it is moving.
BASIC CD PLAY
1. Press the DISC SELECTOR buttons to select the disc
to be played first.

2. Press the ➤I button. “>” appears on the display and
play starts from the first track.

The following information is displayed.
The current disc number
- The current track number
Elapsed time for the current track.
NOTE:
If the disc is scratched or loaded upside down, “Cd Err”
appears on the display, and then the disc tray slides
out.
