(3) Compressor maximum running time
Either Compressor A or B keeps running for 90 minutes at maximum for compressor protection.
Operation sequence
Ex: In compressor overlapping run
㽲 When a unit reaches to the point where either compressor A or B runs solely, Compressor A should
be turned on. 䋨Compressor B should be turned off䋩 (Point 㽲 in the picture below)
㽳 When unit cannot reach set temp +0.4㷄 within 90 minutes, Compressor A should be turned off and
Compressor B should be turned on. (Point 㽳 in the picture below)
㽴 If a unit reached to the point to start compressor overlapping run when running time of Compressor B
exceeds 90 minutes, Compressor A should be turned on. (Point 㽴 in the picture below)
㽵 When unit reaches to the point where either compressor A or B runs solely, Compressor B should be
turned off. (Point 㽵 in the picture below)
(4) Diagnosis to switch operation mode
a) When unit reaches set temp -1.5㷄 during compressor overlapping run, diagnosis is performed to
determine if the unit can keep cooling performance using a single compressor and operation mode
changes to compressor alternate run.
b) When unit reaches set temp +3.0㷄 during compressor alternate run, diagnosis is performed to
determine if the unit cannot keep cooling performance using a single compressor, and operation
mode is changed to compressor overlapping run.
