Image protect mode
(prevent accidental erasure)

Display the data that you want to
protect from accidental erasure,
and display the BASIC Mode
Playback Setting Screen (page 68).

Select the protect icon A, and
press the SET button.
e “LOCK?” appears.
e If the protect mode has already
been enabled for the data, then
“UNLOCK?” appears.

Toggle the SET button up or down
to select “YES”, and press the SET
button.
e The protect mode is set for the
data.
e The protect mark B indicates
that the data is locked.
e To return to the BASIC Mode
Playback Setting Screen, press the
MENU button.
