8. Cleaning of SATA adam 2 / adam 2 mini / adam
2 display
Warning! Attention!
• The SATA adam 2 can be
basically cleaned in the gun wash
machine. However, please make sure that the device remains in the
gun wash machine
for the cleaning process only (max. 30 min.)
(Evaporating solvents may otherwise damage sealings)! Please
observe operating instructions and safety instructions of the gun wash
machine.
• Recommendation: To increase the lifetime of the SATA adam 2 dis-
play (beyond the regular warranty period), please remove the display
from the spray gun before cleaning in a gun wash machine [please
see chapter 7.1] and clean the display with a cleaning cloth soaked
in cleaning agent only!
• Please open the display in case of battery exchange only!
•
Do not clean SATA adam 2 display in the gun wash machine
when removed from the spray gun.
• Never soak the spray gun and the SATA adam 2 display in cleaning
agent!

Use neutral cleaning solution (pH value 6 to 8)!
•
Do not use acids, alkalines, unsuitable regenerates or other ag-
gressive cleaning media!
• Do not clean the glass plate of the SATA adam 2 display with pointed,
sharp or abrasive objects!
• Never use ultrasonic cleaning systems - this will lead to damage of
nozzle sets, spray gun surfaces and digital components!
• Blow dry paint spray gun and material passage, air cap incl. thread
and gravity 󰘱ow cup as well as the SATA adam 2 dock connection
module with clean compressed air after cleaning!
• Please also observe the cleaning instructions for your SATA paint spray
gun.
