Revolving base and braking function
The Scan 57 is equipped with a braking function for the revolving
base.
The wood-burning stove is fitted to the base before adjustment of
the braking function. For adjustment, see below.

Fitting the wood-burning stove to the base
The Scan 57 is equipped with 2 pointed screws on the bottom of the
oven. These may be used to guide the stove into place on the base.
Place the stove on the base. The 2 pointed screws should fall into
the 2 holes in the base as shown. Fit 4 of the Allen screws provided.
Remove the pointed screws and fit the remaining 2 Allen screws.
If you have chosen the Scan 57 with fresh air solution through
the base then this must be fitted before the wood-burning stove
and base are screwed together. See the section "Fresh air solution
through base".

Lift the top plate from the stove and fit the flue collar, seal and
screws.
