3.7 Vibrations
The mechanical vibration level of the machine has been measured in accordance with ISO 5349-
1:2001 at Ahw=5.7 m/s. Maximum daily exposure 1.5 hours including breaks 6.2 hours.
3.8 Transportation
Transport and removal of the Multistripper Vario can be happen in the following ways: if
manually lifting the machine, it is advisable that two persons lift simulate onerously. By using a
ramp one person can load the machine. If lifting the machine mechanically by use of a crane,
lifting brackets can be attached. (Accessories).
4. Repair and maintenance
The Multistripper Vario does not require any particular maintenance by the user. The machine is
equipped with oil impregnated bronze bearings and greased roller chains which are very suitable
for the daily environment of the machine. The DC motor (propulsion) is equipped with carbon
brushes which must be replaced every 2000 hours of operation. lf not, it will result in damage to
the motor and the machine will stop functioning.
It is advisable to have the machine serviced every 1-2 years, to tighten chains, inspect bearings,
gears and motors.
To facilitate scraping ensure that the blade holder is clean and that the M6x12 belts are ok. The
wheels must be of equal size and clean otherwise the scraping will be uneven.
For repairs it is advisable that these be undertaken by the manufacturer. If unauthorized repairs
are carried out, the warranty will cease to apply.
