*Operating mode S1 (continuous operation)
The machine can be operated continuously with the
specied power.
*Operating mode S6 40 %
Continuous duty with intermittent loading (operating
time 10 min.)
To avoid impermissible overheating of the motor, the
motor should be driven for only 40% of the operating
time with the stipulated nominal power and must then
continue to run with no load for the remaining 60% of
the operating time.
Technical changes reserved!
The workpiece must have a minimum height of 3 mm
and a minimum width of 10 mm.
Noise data
The noise level dened in EN ISO 3746 and EN 1807
respectively (correction factor k3 calculated in acc.
with Appendix A.2 of EN 1807-1) for the noise emission
values determined for workplace noise level reect the
workplace conditions dened in ISO 7960 Appendix J.
The stipulated values are emission values and so do
not necessarily represent safe working values.
Although there is a correlation between emission levels
and exposure levels, it is not possible to reliably de-
termine whether additional protective measures will be
required or not based on this.
Danger of injury for ngers and hands when chang-
ing the saw band. Wear suitable work gloves.
Danger of injury when the machine is switched on
from the running saw band.
Hazard due to electrical power, with the use of im-
proper electrical connection cables.
Danger to health from running saw band due to long
hair and loose clothing. Wear personal protective
equipment such as a hair net and close-tting work
clothing.
The rollers can continue to rotate if a drive belt or a
saw blade breaks. Always wait for the machine to
come to a complete stop before opening the sepa-
rating guards.
Furthermore, despite all precautions having been
met, some non-obvious residual risks may still re-
main.
Residual risks can be minimised if the “Safety gen-
eral instructions” and the “Proper use” are observed
along with the whole of the operating instructions.
