• Make sure that the intake air is dry and dust free.
• Do not install the compressor in a damp or wet
room.
• The compressor may only be used in suitable
rooms (with good ventilation and an ambient tem-
perature from +5 °C to 40 °C). There must be no
dust, acids, vapors, explosive gases or inamma-
ble gases in the room.
• The compressor is designed to be used in dry
rooms. It is prohibited to use the compressor in
areas where work is conducted with sprayed water.
8. Attachment and operation
n Important!
You must fully assemble the appliance before
using it for the rst time!
You will require the following tools for assembly and
installation: 2 x open-ended wrench size 13 mm (not
included)
8.1 Fitting the wheels (11)
• Fit the supplied wheels (11) as shown in Fig. 5.
8.2 Fitting the supporting foot (A)
• Fit the supplied supporting foot (A) as shown in Fig-
ure 6.
8.3 Installation of the air lter (15)
• Remove the transport plug (Figure 11 pos. F) and
attach the air lter (Figure 12/15) on the unit by
turning clockwise (N) (Figure 13).
• Solve for maintenance the air lter (15) by turning
counter-clockwise (M) (Figure 13).
8.4 Changing the transportation cover
(Figure 8 - 10)
Remove the transport lid (14) of the oil lling opening .
Fill the included compressor oil into the crank hous-
ing and insert the included oil sealing plug into the oil
lling opening.
Checking the oil level
m Warning: For the rst use, check the oil level of
the compressor.
1 Operating the machine without oil will cause irrep-
arable damage and render the warranty invalid.
2 Remove the plastic oil inlet plug on top of the
crank box of the compressor casing. (see g. 8)
3 Check the oil level in the sight glass (18). The oil
level should be in the centre of the red circle. (see
g. 10 pos. 18.1)
4 Attach the closing plug (14), which is included and
pull it tight.
Operating pressure vessels
• You must keep your pressure vessel in good work-
ing order, operate the vessel correctly, monitor the
vessel, carry out necessary maintenance and re-
pair work immediately and meet the relevant safety
precautions.
• The supervisory authority may enforce essential
control measures in individual cases.
• A pressure vessel is not allowed to be used if it has
faults or deciencies that can endanger workers
or third parties.
• Check the pressure vessel for signs of rust and
damage each time before using. Do not use the
compressor with a damaged or rusty pressure
vessel. If you discover any damage, then please
contact the customer service workshop.
Do not lose these safety instructions

7. Before starting the equipment
• Before you connect the equipment to the mains
supply make sure that the data on the rating plate
are identical to the mains data.
• Prior to initial commissioning, remove the trans-
port plug (14) and ll the crank housing with oil as
described in 8.4.
• Check the equipment for damage which may have
occurred in transit. Report any damage immedi-
ately to the transport company which was used to
deliver the compressor.
• Install the compressor near the point of consump-
tion.
