Notes for packaging
The packaging materials are recy-
clable. Please dispose of packag-
ing in an environmentally friendly
manner.
Notes on the electrical and electronic equipment

Waste electrical and electronic equipment
does not belong in household waste, but
must be collected and disposed of sepa-
rately!
Used batteries or rechargeable batteries that are not
installed permanently in the old appliance must be
removed non-destructively before disposal. Their
disposal is regulated by the battery law.
As the user, you are required to ensure, in consulta-
tion with your electric power company if necessary,
that the connection point at which you wish to oper-
ate the product meets one of the two requirements,
a) or b), named above.
Important information
In the event of an overloading the motor will switch
itself o󰀨. After a cool-down period (time varies) the
motor can be switched back on again.
Faulty electrical connecting leads
Insulation damage often occurs at electrical connect-
ing leads.
Causes include:
Pressure marks caused when connecting leads are
run through windows or the cracks of doors.
Folds caused by the improper attachment of running
of the connecting leads.
Cuts resulting from the crossing of the connecting
lead.
Insulation damages caused by the ripping out of the
connecting lead from the wall socket.
Cracks due to the ageing of the insulation.
Faulty electrical connecting leads such as these may
not be used and are highly dangerous due to the in-
sulation damage.
Check electrical connecting leads regularly for dam-
age. Ensure that the connecting lead is not attached to
the mains supply when you are checking it.
Electrical connecting leads must correspond to the rel-
evant VDE and DIN regulations. Only use connecting
leads with the code H05VV-F.
The type designation must be printed on the connect-
ing lead by regulation.
AC motor
The supply voltage must be 230 volt ~ / 50 Hz.
Extension leads up to 25 m in length must have a
cross-section of 1.5 mm², > 25 m length / 2.5 mm².
Connection type M
Connection method, in which the connection cable can
be easily replaced without the aid of a special tool, us-
ing a special cable, for example with moulded bending
protection sleeve or crimped connections.
Connections and repairs of electrical equipment may
only be performed by a qualied electrician.
