Adjusting the belt tension Removing the tooth belt
1. Loosen the two M6 bolts on both sides (0.5 -1 revolutions coun-
terclockwise) until the rear wheel can freely move. To loosen the bolts
of use an allen-wrench size 5.
2. Turn the tightening cone clockwise with a 17mm wrench to elevate the
belt tension. (g. 11).
3. Fasten the rear wheel by hand-tightening the hub bolts.
4. Follow the steps on both sides and make sure that the rear wheel is
centered between the chain stays. (on the left side please turn the
tightening cone counterclockwise with a 17mm wrench to elevate the
belt tension)
5. Check the belt tension. If the deection is not according the require-
ments loosen the bolts and adjust the belt tension again (page 31).
6. Tighten the M6 hub bolts with torque according to the chart (page 38).
1. Remove the rear wheel (see on page 29)
2. Remove the stainless steel cover. Therefore remo-ve the three coun-
tersunk bolts M2.5x8 with TORX 8 (g. 13) as well as the bolt M6x55
which you can nd at the bottom side of the drop out (g. 14).
3. Remove the frame key
4. Remove the belt trough the gap at the drop out. (g. 15).
5. The assembling is in reverse order. Make sure that after assembling the
belt is in instructed track. The belt must not run entangled.
