The single speed bicycles are equipped with a hybrid sprocket that ts on
both sides of the ip-op hub. That means that you can ride your Siegfried,
Siegfried Road and Viktor with freewheel or with xed-gear.
Changingfromfreewheeltoxed-gear
1. Counter the freewheel by applying the sprocket retainer to the sprocket
and unfasten the lockring (g. 16). Unscrew the lockring and remove
the sprocket.
2. Afterwards, the lockring may be screwed hand-tight on the freehub
body again (g.17).
3. The supplied aluminum spacers (1+2mm) are used to adjust the belt
line (g.18).
4. The sprocket is mounted on the side of the disc mount (xed side) with
6x TORX-25 M5x12 screws (g.19).
5. The belt must not run in an interlaced way, if the rear wheel is correctly
aligned between the stays. Use the crank to spin the rear wheel and
check if the belt runs on a centered track and without any rattle noise. In
case the belt makes any noise you need to readjust it with the included
spacers. After the belt line is correctly aligned, the screws need to be
fastened with their specied tightening torque (page 46).
1. Remove the hybrid sprocket from the hub with a TORX 25 wrench and
also remove the 2 shims (2 and 1 mm).
2. Remove the lock ring from the free wheel body on the other side (it
is only hand tight) and keep 2 x 4mm spacer on the hub (standard).
Remove the left spacer and store them (g 21).
3. Put the hybrid sprocket on the free wheel body. Put a 2mm or 3mm
spacer on the hub and hand-tighten the lock ring (g.22).
4. Assemble the wheel and put the belt under tension.
5. In case the belt makes any noise you need to adjust with a different
amount of spacers.
6. After you adjusted the belt line you need to disassemble the wheel
again and tighten the lockring with the tightening torque (page 38 /
g.24 / lockring tool see g.25).
Changingfromxed-geartofreewheel
To unfasten the lockring on the freewheel side you need
the Schindelhauer sprocket retainer (g.26) and the
lockring tool (g.25).

Tip: If a second sprocket is mounted, the conversion
above is no longer required. To change from xed gear to
freewheel, simply ip the wheel by 180° (g.27).
