ANSI A115.1 1990 Hollow Steel Door Installations
Install two spacers between the spring cage (or knob mounting plate) and lock chassis as
shown. Spacers are required for both the inside and outside escutcheons.
NOTE: L-design escutcheons are not applicable for ANSI A115.1 door preparations.
L283-029 For installation on 1³⁄₄'' thick hollow steel doors prepared per ANSI A115.1 1990.
