What to do if the fan operates, but there is no light in SCHOTT ACE?

  If the fan is working but the SCHOTT Laboratory Equipment light isn't, first ensure the power cord is fully inserted into the IEC connector on the rear panel and plugged into the correct power source. Inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. Then, check the fuse by removing the power cord, sliding out the fuse drawer, and testing the inner fuse for continuity. If blown, replace it ONLY with the fuse type specified on the rear panel. Also, if the unit feels warm, check for obstructions around the air intakes or exhaust; allow the unit to cool for 10 minutes before turning it back on, as it has a thermal cut-out device.

  If neither the lamp nor the fan operates on your SCHOTT Laboratory Equipment, first ensure the power cord is fully inserted into the IEC connector on the rear panel and into the correct power source. Also, check the power cord for any damage. Next, examine the fuse: remove the power cord, slide out the fuse drawer, and check the inner fuse for continuity. Replace the fuse ONLY with the type specified on the rear panel if it's blown. If the unit feels warm, check for any obstructions to the air intakes or exhaust area. This light source has an automatic reset, thermal cut-out device for safety protection. Let the unit cool down for 10 minutes and turn it back on. If problems persist, consult qualified SCHOTT authorized service personnel.
