Examine the helmet for damage at regular intervals. Small scratches will
not impair the protective function of your helmet.
The helmet should be replaced after 5 years of purchase, depending on
use and care.
Excessive heat (e.g. exhaust heat) can cause damage to the decoration,
the inner EPS shell of the helmet and the interior lining.
Direct contact with motor fuel, thinners or solvents can destroy the
structure of the inner and outer shell. Make sure the helmet does not
come into contact with such substances, even for cleaning purposes.
Do not apply paint, stickers, petrol or other solvents to this helmet.
2. SAFETY ADVISE CONCERNING SIZE AND FIT
1. To make sure your helmet is the right size, check that :
 The helmet inner lining ts snugly around your head.
 The helmet pads press rmly on your head.
 The cheek pads contact your cheeks.
 There is no space around your brow under the inner lining. Test this by
trying to insert your ngers.
If the helmet does not t snugly, try on a smaller size or a dierent model
helmet.
2. Check your eld of vision when trying on a helmet. Some helmets may
obstruct or block your vision when looking left, right, up, or down.
3. Test the helmet t by placing your hands on each side of the helmet.
While holding your head as motionless as possible, try rotating your helmet
forward and back and from left to right then up and down. If you can feel
the helmet padding sliding on your head, it is too big, try a size smaller or a
dierent model helmet. You should feel the helmet move the skin on your
head and face as you try to move the helmet.
