TABLE 12.2 – ELECTRONIC CONTROLER ERRORS
3. Error Display
Table 6 shows how errors are displayed on the Electronic Controller Eletrônico.
1. Start-Up Procedure
SRS - Air Dryers are supplied from the factory pre-tested and programmed. So, it is necessary to just install the air and electric power ne-
tworks as stated in the Installation item.
Open the side door and check if the needle valve (12) on the drain solenoid valve (Figure 8.1) is sufficiently open to provide adequate dis-
charge for condensation. To do this, just turn the handle counter-clockwise and during purges check if there is any condensate discharge
from the hose.
2. Procedure for Turning off
In order to avoid contamination from the treated air, it is recommended to first turn off the air compressor and then the SRS - Air Dryer when
turning off the central air compressor.
13. DRYER OPERATION
It is recommended to start the SRS - Air Dryer 5 minutes before turning on the air compressor.
IMPORTANT
- When an error display occurs on the Electronic Controller immediately deenergize the SRS - Air Dryer and
get in touch with technical assistance from an accredited Schulz Authorized-Technical/Distributor for this
equipment.
- If the air dryer turns off without any apparent reason and the “OK” led on the electronic controller turns off, this shows the equipment is
turning off due to low temperature to avoid possible frozen condensation. In a few seconds after the disconnection, the “OK” led turns on
again to let the operator turn the dryer on again. This type of disconnection may occur on extremely cold days or when the dryer is not
adjusted correctly.
If this kind of failure begins to take place quite frequently, you must get in touch with technical assistance from an accredited Schulz
Authorized-Technical/Distributor for this equipment.
