1. DAILY PROCEDURES
1.1 When the dryer is operating and WITHOUT any compressed air flow:
- Observe how the fan operates.
1.2 When the dryer is operating and WITH the compress air flow:
- Check the displayed temperature on the electronic controller;
- Press the button to activate the P2 led and check the operation of the purge solenoid;
- If necessary, depressurize and deenergize the dryer to clean the purge system. For assistance get in touch with technical assistance from
an accredited Schulz Authorized-Technical/Distributor for this equipment;
- Check the purge system of the coalescent filters and if necessary disassemble and clean them.
2. MONTHLY
- Have an electrician inspect electrical connections to proceed with retightening if necessary.
3. EVERY 1000 HOURS
3.1 When the dryer is operating and WITHOUT any compressed air flow:
- Check the voltage of the electrical system;
- Check the refrigeration compressor current.
3.2 When the dryer is operating and WITH compressed air flow:
- Check the blockage on the display of the coalescent filters installed on the compressed air inlet and outlet to the SRS - Air Dryer.
3.3 When the SRS- Air Dryer is turned off and depressurized:
- Clean the condenser: in an environment with a great deal of suspended particles, it is recommended to anticipate this procedure. Use
a compressed air sprayer to clean of the condenser, the air flow direction used for cleaning must be the opposite air flow used in cooling
(towards the outside) of the SRS - Air Dryer. If the cleaner is not able to remove all dirt, sprayed pressurized water can be used as long as
the electrical system is protected.
4. ANNUAL CHECK OR WHENEVER NECESSARY
4.1 Equipment inspection by the Schulz Authorized-Technical/Distributor is recommended.
4.2 When the dryer load loss is very high (over 1 bar), it is probable the heat exchanger is partially blocked. Get in touch with technical
assistance from an accredited Schulz Authorized-Technical/Distributor for this equipment for maintenance;
5. SERVICE REPORT
To facilitate your preventive maintenance, you will find a sample Instruction Manual where it is recommended to register preventive, correc-
tive maintenance and inspections performed on this machine. Perform maintenance procedures as specified.
It is prohibited to clean filters and reuse them, after the set number of hours of usage is due. In case of aggressive environment conditions
the intervals must be reevaluated by the accredited Schulz Authorized-Technical/Distributor for this equipment. Get in touch with the factory
for additional guidance, as to avoid any unnoticed damage to the SRS - Air Dryer and thereby annulling the Warrantee.
14. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Wear appropriate “leather” gloves when performing maintenance or cleaning up in order to avoid accidents with cutting edges.
Refrigerant fluid change is not recommended except in cases of system maintenance.
