  If your Schumacher Remote Starter isn't jump-starting your car, there are several potential reasons. First, ensure the clamps have a solid connection to both the battery and the frame, and that these connection points are clean. If the connections are reversed, disconnect the Instant Power and reverse the clamps. Also, check the Instant Power's battery charge by pressing the Battery Status button. If the battery is low, it needs to be charged. The vehicle's battery itself might be defective and needs to be checked. Finally, make sure the Instant Power is turned on by setting the ON/OFF switch to the ON position.

  If your Schumacher Remote Starter isn't powering your 12V device, first ensure that the 12V device is turned on. Then, check the battery charge status of the Instant Power by pressing the Battery Status button. If the device still isn't working, it might be drawing more than 15A or have a short circuit. If this is the case, disconnect the 12V device; the internal breaker will automatically reset after a minute or two. After it resets, try using the 12V device again.
