      If your Schumacher Remote Starter isn't jump starting your car, there might be a few reasons: * The clips may not be making a solid connection. Check the connections to both the battery and the frame, ensuring they are clean. Try rocking the clips back and forth to improve the connection. * The Instant Power™ battery may not be charged. Check the battery charge status by pressing the button on the front of the unit. * The vehicle's battery could be defective. In this case, have the battery checked by a professional.

    Why won't my Schumacher IP-55 Remote Starter power my 12V device?

      If your Schumacher Remote Starter isn't powering your 12V device, consider these possibilities: * The 12V device might not be turned on. Ensure the device is switched on. * The Instant Power™ battery could be low. Check the battery charge status by pressing the button on the front of the Instant Power™. * The 12V device may be drawing too much power (more than 15A) or has a short circuit. Disconnect the device and wait a minute or two for the internal breaker to reset automatically. Then, try the device again. If the issue persists, you may need to replace the 12V device.
