What to do if Schumacher Battery Charger indicator lights are erratic?
    • M
      Max BradfordJul 30, 2025
If the indicator lights on your Schumacher Battery Charger are lit erratically, you might have accidentally activated a special diagnostic mode, or the charger may be defective. Ensure nothing is touching the control panel, then unplug the charger and plug it in again. If the problem persists, return the charger to the place of purchase for a replacement.

Why Schumacher SC-12000A SpeedCharge digital display flashes before battery is fully charged?
    • F
      fblakeAug 8, 2025
The flashing digital display on your Schumacher Battery Charger before the battery is fully charged can occur if the incorrect battery type was selected, or if the battery did not reach full charge within 24 hours due to being a very large battery or bank of batteries. It may also happen if the battery is faulty. To resolve this, reset the charger by briefly unplugging it or briefly disconnecting the negative battery clip. Then, select the desired charge rate (small or regular battery) and battery type again, if necessary.
