  If the green CHARGED light illuminates shortly after connecting the Schumacher Battery Charger to the battery, it's likely that the battery is already fully charged or was recently charged. To resolve this, if the battery is in a vehicle, turn the headlights on for a few minutes to reduce the battery voltage and then attempt charging again.

  If the engine crank time is less than specified when using the Schumacher Battery Charger, the starter motor may be drawing more than 60 Amps. To resolve this, charge the battery at the 30A10A rate for 10 to 15 minutes, and then try cranking the engine again.

  If the CHECK (red) light on your Schumacher Battery Charger flashes before the battery is fully charged, it could be due to several reasons. The battery might not have reached full charge within 24 hours, possibly because it's a very large battery or a bank of batteries needing more power than the charger can provide in that time. Alternatively, the battery itself may be faulty. To address this, reset the charger by unplugging it or briefly disconnecting the negative battery clip. If needed, re-select the desired charge rate and battery type.
