Preparing the underwater housing
1. Inspect the O-ring and O-ring contact surfaces for damage, such as
cuts (A), tears (B) and scratches (C). Replace the O-ring if it is
damaged. If the O-ring contact surface is damaged, contact your local
authorized SeaLife dealer or the service center in your country.
Replacement O-rings are available at your local authorized SeaLife
dealer or online at sealifepartsdirect.com (USA only). Note: Replace
O-ring every year to ensure proper seal. Only use SeaLife O-ring
designed for the ReefMaster RM-4K (Item # SL3517). See
instructions below for removing / installing the O-ring.
2. DO NOT lubricate the O-ring. Clean the O-ring and O-ring contact
surfaces with a slightly-dampened, micro-fiber cloth. A slight-
dampened cloth helps attract and remove hair (1), sand (2) and other
fine particles.
