4. Setting up and aligning the scale
– Place the scale on a level surface.
– Undo the locknuts using the four foot
screws.
– Align the scale by undoing the foot
screws. The air bubble in the spirit level
must be right in the centre of the circle.
– Then re-tighten the locknuts.
– For mobile use on a ward, the
seca 797 can be tilted back slightly
and then moved on the castors.
Important!
The alignment of the base of the scale
must be checked and corrected if
necessary every time the location of
the scale is changed.

Controls and displays
The controls and the display are on the display head on the column.
