4. Join the tack to the tack hook.
Remove the lock retaining screw to
Twist the tack hook away from
the keyhole slot while at the same
time raising the locking tube. (The
tensioning screw is now exposed).
Lower the locking tube again while
at the same time re-engaging the
tack hock into the keyhole slot. Re-
place the lock retaining screw.
Fitting and hoisting sail
1. Check that the tack and head of the sail are made as illustrated on page 10. An incorrectly made tack can
cause wrinkles in the sail and make smooth furling difficult.

Join the head to the halyard swivel.

2. Remove the covers.
Depress one button and push. Lift the opposite end and remove.
