vided by the external signal. Turn the small center Cl OVER COMPENSATED

wide, and note this control now functions as a hor-
izontal gain control. Pull on the HORIZONTAL
POSITION knob, and note that the 5X EXPAND also

PROBE COMPENSATION
The 39G34 low capacity probe contains an adjust-
able compensation capacitor (C1 on the schematic).
The adjustment of this capacitor should be checked
frequently to insure accurate square wave reproduc-
tion. The setup for adjusting this capacitor is as
