4 Short instructions
DSPpro has been factory-pre-set to allow immediate use. However, if you want DSPpro to
create the optimum 3D environment for your ears you have to match DSPpro to your ears.
The factory adjustment can only be a compromise. Please see chapter 9 “Matching the
Toltec processor to your ears” for instructions. The factory adjustment can only be a
compromise, but it will help you to acquaint yourself with the basic functions of DSPpro.
• Connect DSPpro to the sound source (e.g. your stereo TV) and to the mains.
• Connect your stereo headphone to one of the two DSPpro headphone sockets.
• Switch DSPpro on by momentarily pressing the POWER button. DSPpro will first
perform a self test (all LEDs are lit) and is ready for operation after approx. six to eight
seconds.
• Select the input (source) signal with (DOLBY), STEREO or MONO.
• Adjust volume and tone with VOLUME, BASS and BALANCE.
• Put the signal source (e.g. your hi-fi system, stereo TV or video recorder) into operation
– and listen!
