PROBLEM SOLVING
Use the flow chart to determine any likely problem and then if necessary
undertake the simple flow test to establish if the JetFlush pump is functioning.
If the pump is circulating and dumping with a good flow rate then any problem
must be related to the heating system.
Section C – Troubleshooting, Service & Repair
Check for signs of damage.
Check for obstructions/debris caught in the
impellor etc.
Check fuse and power supply.
Check any extension cables/thermal cut outs.
Ensure JetFlush Rapid valves are set to re-circulate.
Ensure heating system isolation valves/TRVs, zone
valves are all set to open. Check for kinks in hoses.
There is a restriction, such as a one-way valve
within the heating system or boiler. Either loop out
restriction or just flush in one direction.
Ensure sufficient water level within tank.
Check orientation of JetFlush Rapid valves, only
set one valve to dump, on the return side.

Does the problem
only occur
when dumping?
Carry out following test to
establish if it is a JetFlush
Rapid problem or a heating
system problem.
Fill tank to half height.
Loop the flow and return
connections together.
Place the dump hose back
through the filler cap.
Set both valves to re-circulate. Switch
on and check flow, then use flow
reverser to check flow direction. Then
set valve on return side to dump and
check flow. Now return valve to
re-circulate, change direction and set
other valve to dump.
If the pump is working, then the
problem is with the heating system.
If this test fails
