USB DAC function
Firmware Update
Visit the official website at www.shanling.com and go to the dedicated
page of Shanling UP4(22) to download the latest firmware. Follow the
included instructions to update the firmware of the Shanling UP4(22).
To use the UP4 as a USB DAC, firstly connect the UP4 to the computer
with the USB cable and plug in your headphones. The LED indicator will
show constant red light (or green light if the UP4 is fully charged). Then
turn on the UP4, computer will automatically recognize it and install any
needed drivers. Open the sound device settings and set the device listed
as "Speaker Shanling UP4(22)" as your default audio device. The LED
indicator will show constant white light when there is audio playing on
computer (or cyan light if the UP4 is fully charged).
