Why is my Shark IONFLEX IC205 not picking up debris?
    • D
      Dr. Timothy MyersAug 8, 2025
If your Shark Vacuum Cleaner isn't picking up debris or has weak suction, several factors could be at play. Start by checking the filters; they may need cleaning. Rinse them and let them air-dry completely before putting them back. Also, the dust cup might be full, so empty it. Inspect the floor nozzle and the connection between the handvac and wand for any blockages and clear them if necessary. Finally, remove any string, carpet fibers, or hair wrapped around the brushroll and Soft Roller or trapped behind the Soft Roller.

Why does my Shark IONFLEX IC205 turn off by itself?
    • R
      Robert Reid DDSAug 15, 2025
If your Shark Vacuum Cleaner is turning off unexpectedly, there are several possible reasons. First, check the LED lights on the ION Power Pack to see if it needs recharging. You should also empty the dust cup and clean the filters. Inspect the wand, accessories, and inlet openings for any blockages. Finally, the unit or ION Power Pack may have overheated; allow them to cool for at least 45 minutes until they return to room temperature.

How to fix a Shark IONFLEX IC205 brushroll that won't spin?
    • R
      Ryan MillerAug 22, 2025
If the brushroll or Soft Roller on your Shark Vacuum Cleaner isn't spinning, immediately turn off the vacuum and remove the ION Power Pack. Check for any blockages and remove them before reconnecting the power pack and turning the vacuum back on. Also, if the headlights are not illuminated, there may be a connection issue between the handheld vacuum, wand and nozzle. Try disconnecting and reattaching these pieces.

What to do if LED lights on Shark Vacuum Cleaner ION Power Pack are flashing?
    • T
      Thomas ThomasAug 30, 2025
If the bottom LED light is flashing, the ION Power Pack needs to be charged. If the top and bottom LED lights are flashing, the ION Power Pack temperature is not optimal, so charging is temporarily paused. Leave the power pack plugged in, and charging will resume soon. If the top 2 or bottom 2 LED lights are flashing, call Customer Service at 1-800-798-7398.
