Why does my Shark Vacuum Cleaner turn off on its own?
- SSteven MartinJul 30, 2025
The Shark Vacuum Cleaner may turn off automatically if it overheats, activating the motor protective thermostat. To resolve this: 1. Set the On/Off switch to “O” (Off). 2. Unplug the vacuum. 3. Empty the dust cup and clean the filters. 4. Inspect the hose, accessories, and inlet openings for any blockages. 5. Let the unit cool down for at least 45 minutes. 6. Plug the vacuum back in. 7. Turn the On/Off switch to “I” (On) to restart.
