To Change the PIN Code
This allows you to change the PIN code registered on
the SIM card. Before you change the PIN code, select
“On” in step 1 in “Enabling/Disabling the PIN Code”
on page 122.
“Settings”
→ “Phone Settings” → “Locks” → “PIN
Entry”
→ “Change PIN”
1. Enter the existing PIN code.
2. Enter a new PIN code.
3. Enter the new PIN code again.
Changing the PIN2 Code
The PIN2 code is used to protect certain functions in the
phone such as Fixed Dialling Number and call cost
limits. The following shows you how to change the
PIN2 code. This menu may not be displayed depending
on the type of your SIM card.
“Settings”
→ “Phone Settings” → “Locks” →
“Change PIN2”
1. Enter the existing PIN2 code.
2. Enter a new PIN2 code.
3. Enter the new PIN2 code again.
Handset Lock
The Handset Lock prevents unauthorised use of the
phone or certain features on the phone when the power
is turned on. By setting this option on, your phone or
certain features on your phone are locked until the
correct handset code is entered.
“Settings”
→ “Phone Settings” → “Locks” →
“Handset Lock”
1. Select “On” or “Off”.
2. Enter your handset code.
For details on the handset code, see “Changing the
Handset Code” on page 124.
Function Lock
By setting this option on, all the functions of your
phone will be locked until the correct handset code is
entered.

→ “Phone Settings” → “Locks” →
“Function Lock”
1. Enter your handset code.
For details on the handset code, see “Changing the
Handset Code” on page 124.
To Turn Off the Function Lock
Enter your handset code in standby to turn the Function
Lock off.
