  If your Sharp Air Conditioner isn't cooling sufficiently, try these steps: * Ensure the thermostat knob is set to a higher number (closer to 10). * Clean the air filter if it's clogged. * Eliminate any nearby heat sources. * Keep windows and doors closed. * If the coils are dirty, clean them with a steam cleaner or another suitable method. * Ensure nothing is obstructing the airflow of the unit; remove any obstructions or relocate the air conditioner. * Check the sealed system. If these steps don't improve cooling, further investigation might be needed. You can also use the Cooling Load Estimate Form.

  If your Sharp Air Conditioner isn't cooling at all, consider the following: * Check for gas leaks and repair them, then recharge the system. * If there's no temperature difference and the equipment is defective, repair or replace the defective components. * Improve ventilation and avoid direct sunshine if the outside air temperature is too high. * Calculate the cooling load and remove or change the heat source if there is excessive heat leak. * Replace the capillary tube if it is restricted.
