Audio Description (DTV input mode only)
This function allows to adjust the volume level of the
audio descriptor if the TV receives a signal that
includes the audio descriptor.
HWidescreen
You can manually choose the size of the image
that appears on your screen.
The selectable image size varies according to the type
of signal received.
Pressa/bwhile the widescreen mode menu is
displayed on the screen.

H4:3 aspect ratio (Only for input mode
into DTV)

When a TV program ends, and the TV receives a signal
input, this function may not work.
Zoom 14:9 14:9 aspect ratio. A thin stripe appears on
each side of the screen, and stripes can be
seen at the top and bottom of the frame
for some programs.
For the Deaf (DVB Subtitles)
HInactive Off
You can set the TV to automatically power off when the TV
does not receive the remote control for more than 3 hours.
(Off, 3 hours, 30 minutes)
Each time you press [ on the remote control, the subtitles
will switch when the broadcast contains subtitle
information.
Overview In this mode, the image will be stretched
at the edges of the screen. The picture
may appear like “Full screen” depending
on the broadcast signal.

Allows you to change the sound while watching

Screen

The screen is small enough only when
receiving 720p/1080p/1080i signal
(LC-32LE280X only)/720p signal
(LC-40LE280X only). Display optimized
High-Resolution images. Noise may
appear at the edge of the screen with
some programs.
Digital Audio Language
Set two desired multi-audio languages to display
if audio languages are available.
(1st Language, 2nd Language)
Bilingual
Choose from 3 mode types: Double I, Double II and
Double I + II.
Only sound
When listening to music from a music program, you
can turn off the screen to enjoy the music only.
ATTENTION
Point by point Display an image with the same number of
pixels on the screen (only when receiving 1080i/
1080p signals for LC-40LE280X).

If the audio for the selected language is not included in
the received broadcast, the audio will not be output for
that language.

When you perform picture-changing operations on the TV
such as by changing the input source, the Sound Only
function is set to “Off”.
ATTENTION

If subtitles for the selected language are not available in the
recorded broadcast, the subtitles will not be displayed for
that language.
