B. Transfer operation
The toner image on the photo conductor is transferred to the paper
by applying the positive high voltage to the transfer roller.
C. Cleaning operation
The unnecessary toner on the transfer roller is moved to the photo
conductor by changing the polar character of the transfer roller to
the negative high voltage type. Then, the unnecessary toner is
transported to the waste toner section by the cleaning blade of the
photo conductor.
