REPLACEMENT OF PICKUP
When replacing the pickup, refer to "Cares when Handling
Pickup Assembly".
(a) After removing the CD PWB according to steps 1 - 4 of the
disassembling method, remove the lead
wire and screw
in order of
CD and (2).
(b) Fit a new pickup in reverse order of disassembling.
(c) Connect the connector and lead
wire as it was.
(d) The laser
power adjustment is not necessary owing to
improvement of performance of pickup.
Note: When replacing the pickup do not apply force to the
turntable of spin motor. Otherwise, the height of main
chassis and turntable may be varied.

FITTING OF DISC HOLDER
1. Fit the disc tray into the disc holder.
2. Lifting the disc tray, pass the guides through the grooves of
the disc holder and push the disc holder
completely (when
passing the rear guides through the grooves, press the
switch lever).
