Why does my Sharp KD-HHH8S8GW3-DE Dryer take so long to dry?
- VVictoria BurtonAug 7, 2025
Several factors can cause the drying process to take longer than expected with your Sharp Dryer. The lint filter surface might be clogged, so wash it with lukewarm water. The heat exchanger could be clogged and require cleaning. Make sure the ventilation grills are open to prevent the room temperature from rising too much. A layer of limescale on the humidity sensor or overloading the dryer with laundry can also extend drying time, so clean the humidity sensor and avoid overloading the dryer. Lastly, ensure your laundry is adequately spun by selecting a higher spin speed on your washing machine.
