Flashing of Analogue TV
Start ServUpdtArdV_vx_x.exe
Is checkbox behind “Enter ISP”
checked?
- Is Aardvark.dll still in same directory?
- Copy complete directory “ServUpdt” to HDD.
- Is your OS Microsoft Windows?
Check if all connections are according the dervice
manual and the TV set is powered on.
Check if correct tool is selected in “Select Port”
Are files found when pressing
“select”
Request latest set-software.
Copy the files to your HDD.
Browse to the destination you copied the files to.
Is Flashing interrupted due to:
- error message
- power loss
Please restart SW upgrading procedure.
Flashing of Digital TV
Is the right file on the CF?
Is the display still black after
flashing time expired?
Request latest set-software.
Copy the files to your HDD.
Copy *.bin file to CF (check release notes)
Power off set and remove FC card
Power on set and check SW version
If version is not updated, retry flash procedure
DVBt doesn’t start after reboot?
Is the CF card removed?
Rename the *.bin file to a higher number and retry.

Is flashing interrupted due to:
- power loss
Please restart SW upgrading procedure.

if the file is called: “8400-14001_02.bin” then rename it to “8400-14001_03.bin”
Attention: this procedure can be use when SW is partly written to the flash due to e.g. power failure.
Before upgrading, the version is checked. When it’s the same the upgrade will be cancelled. So the
partly written flash can never be upgraded unless the SW is fooled by this higher version (renamed file).
So in fact this is a forced download...
