Why is my Sharp TV not saving channels after re-tuning?
    • S
      Shannon FrancisAug 17, 2025
If your TV isn't storing channels after re-tuning, it's likely that the channel database has become corrupt. To fix this: 1. Turn off the TV. 2. Remove the RF/Aerial cable from the rear of the TV and then turn the TV back on again. 3. Using the remote control, press [MENU] followed by 8-8-8-8 to enter the initial setup/first time installation menu. 4. Press OK to let the TV run the full tuning process. 5. Once completed, turn off the TV, reconnect the RF/Aerial cable, and turn the TV back on again. 6. Repeat steps 3 & 4.

Why is my Sharp TV not receiving all digital channels?
    • A
      Anna FloresAug 20, 2025
If you are not receiving channels after tuning your Sharp TV, first check that you are in an area that can receive Freeview/Saorview by visiting www.freeview.co.uk or www.saorview.ie. Then, ensure you are using an aerial that can receive a good digital signal. In most cases, an outdoor digital hi-gain/wideband aerial is needed. In areas with excellent digital coverage, a loft type aerial may work, but a booster between the TV and the aerial wall socket is highly recommended. Portable/indoor aerials are not suitable for receiving a good digital signal.

How to connect external speakers to Sharp LC-60UI9362K for louder sound?
    • G
      garciawilliamAug 22, 2025
To get louder sound, you can either use the 3.5mm headphone output on the TV with a 3.5mm to phono cable to connect to an amplifier/surround sound/soundbar (note that this will deactivate the TV’s built-in speakers), or connect a digital optical audio cable from the TV’s digital optical audio output to your amplifier/surround sound/soundbar digital optical audio input.

How to get sound when connecting Playstation/Xbox to Sharp LC-60UI9362K via component cables?
    • J
      james42Aug 28, 2025
If your Playstation/Xbox is connected via Component cables (red, green & blue) and you're not getting any sound, it's because component cables only transmit HD pictures. To get sound, connect the red & white audio cables on the Playstation/Xbox to the red & white Phono inputs (or mini AV input where fitted) on the rear of the TV. Please refer to the ‘Connections’ pages.

How to use a large USB hard drive with my Sharp LC-60UI9362K?
    • M
      Maria WolfeSep 12, 2025
If you wish to use a portable hard drive larger than 32GB with your Sharp TV, it must be formatted to the FAT32 file system. Note that Windows XP/Vista computers can only format up to 32GB, so you'll need a software program/utility to format larger hard drives.
