Is it possible to print using PCL6
without the MXEB16 installed?
As standard, you can print to the MX2314N using either
Sharp Advanced Printer Language (SAPL) or PCL6.
However, as the PCL6 print driver is only bundled with
the MXEB16 option, download the latest MX2314N
PCL6 driver from the Sharp support website.
Inbound Routing configuration page is

Paper up to 1200mm in length?
The MX-2314/2614/3114N series can support printing
up to 1200mm in length from the bypass tray only.
Note: A setting change (Sim26-50, Item F) is required.
Is it possible to Tandem
MX-2614/3114N series with another
MX colour device?
Tandem operation is only supported with
MX-2314/2614/3114N series only.
Note: For MX-2314N, MX-EB16 is required.
Machine indicates Paper Out
condition (especially after recovering
from Pre Heat or Auto Shut Off
modes), even though paper is still
available in the cassette.
When experiencing the above phenomenon, upgrade
the PCU firmware to Special ROM version 04.02.G2.a0
APPD1_N Duplex jams or Corner of
paper folding.
To increase the operating tolerance in duplex mode if
paper curl is present:-
1. Adjust the fusing temperature (SIM43-1) to reduce
paper curl.
2. Replace the ADU Gate Plate (PG 41-67) with a
modified type LPLTP8560FCZ1 so that the Delivery
Gate is open to maximum position.
3. For a temporary workaround, remove the ADU right
upper cabinet and fix a paper clip onto the ADU
Base Plate to open the Right Delivery Gate to
Maximum position.
POD1_S jams, only when copying or
printing 2 sided documents with
Punch.
Upgrade the PCU firmware to 03.02.G2.00 (or higher)
DOCUMENT FILING / PUBLIC FOLDER
Unable to browse the NAS/Public
Folder, even though the Public
Folder/NAS settings are enabled
within the Network Settings menu.
The NBT/WINS Port (Security setting) must be enabled
to use NAS/Public storage. For security measures, this
port setting is disabled as default.
Can you use Domain User Accounts to
browse the NAS/Public Folders?
NAS/Public Folders support local accounts only
(programmed on MFP)
