SAFETY INSTRUCTION
-Donotusethemonitorwherethereisalotofdust,where
humidity is high, or where the monitor may come into contact 
with oil or steam. Do not use in an environment where 
there are corrosive gases (sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, 
nitrogen dioxide, chlorine, ammonia, ozone, etc.). As this 
could lead to fire.
-Ensurethatthemonitordoesnotcomeintocontactwith
waterorotherfluids.Ensurethatnoobjectssuchaspaper
clips or pins enter the monitor as this could lead to fire or 
electric shock.
-Donotplacethemonitorontopofunstableobjectsorin
unsafe places. Do not allow the monitor to receive strong 
shocksortostronglyvibrate.Causingthemonitortofallor
topple over may damage it.
-Donotusethemonitornearheatingequipmentorinplaces
where there is likelihood of high temperature, as this may 
leadtogenerationofexcessiveheatandoutbreakoffire.
-Donotusethemonitorinplaceswhereitmaybeexposedto
directsunlight.Riskofcabinetdeformationandfailureifthe
monitor is used in direct sunlight.
-Pleasebesuretoconstantlyremovedustandgarbagethat
has attached to the ventilation opening. If dust collects in the 
ventilation opening or the inside of the monitor, it may lead to 
excessiveheat,outbreakoffire,ormalfunction. 
Please request a cleaning of the inside of the monitor from 
an authorized SHARP servicing dealer or service center.
-Thepoweroutletshallbeinstalledneartheequipmentand
shallbeeasilyaccessible.
-Continuousoperatingtimeandwarranty. 
This product is designed for a maximum daily use of 16 
hours. Continual use in excess of 16 hours per day is not 
coveredbythewarranty.
-Donotoperatethescreenwithahardorpointedobjectsuch
as a fingernail or pencil.
The Power Cord
-Useonlythepowercordsuppliedwiththemonitor.
-Donotdamagethepowercordnorplaceheavyobjectson
it,stretchitoroverbendit.Also,donotaddextensioncords.
Damage to the cord may result in fire or electric shock.
-Donotusethepowercordwithapowertap. 
Adding an extension cord may lead to fire as a result of 
overheating.
-Donotremoveorinsertthepowerplugwithwethands.
Doing so could result in electric shock.
-Unplugthepowercordifitisnotusedforalongtime.
-Donotattempttorepairthepowercordifitisbroken
or malfunctioning. Refer the servicing to the service 
representative.
Wireless LAN
-Thismonitorcannotbeusedinotherthanthecountryor
region where you purchased it.
-Thechannelsandfrequenciesthatcanbeusedforwireless
LANvarybycountryandregion.

Ifamonitorisnotpositionedinasufficientlystablelocation,itcanbepotentiallyhazardousduetofalling.Manyinjuries,
particularlytochildren,canbeavoidedbytakingsimpleprecautionssuchas:
•Usingfixingdeviceslikewallmountbracketsrecommendedbythemanufacturer.
•Onlyusingfurniturethatcansafelysupportthemonitor.
•Ensuringthemonitorisnotoverhangingtheedgeofthesupportingfurniture.
•Notplacingthemonitorontallfurniture(forexample,cupboardsorbookcases)withoutanchoringboththefurnitureandthe
monitortoasuitablesupport.
•Notstandingthemonitorsonclothorothermaterialsplacedbetweenthemonitorandsupportingfurniture.
•Educatingchildrenaboutthedangersofclimbingonfurnituretoreachthemonitororitscontrols.
•Thisequipmentisnotsuitableforuseinlocationswherechildrenarelikelytobepresentunsupervised.
Especially for child safety
-Don’tallowchildrentoclimbonorplaywiththemonitor.
-Don’tplacethemonitoronfurniturethatcaneasilybeusedassteps,suchasachestofdrawers.
-Rememberthatchildrencanbecomeexcitedwhilewatchingaprogram,especiallyona“largerthanlife”monitor.Care
shouldbetakentoplaceorinstallthemonitorwhereitcannotbepushed,pulledover,orknockeddown.
-Careshouldbetakentorouteallcordsandcablesconnectedtothemonitorsothattheycannotbepulledorgrabbedby
curious children.
