RECORD/PLAYBACK HEAD AZIMUTH ADJUSTMENT

Connect instruments as shown in Fig. 9—1.
Set the Dolby NR switch SW301 to the off position and
tape selector switches SW202 and SW203 to the normal
position.
. Adjust the head azimuth adjusting screw so that the output
signals from both channels will have maximum waveform
with the same phase in right and left.
PLAYBACK SENSITIVITY ADJUSTMENT

Connect instruments as shown in Fig. 9—2.
Set the Dolby NR switch SW301 to the off position and
tape selector switches SW202 and SW203 to the normal
position.
. Adjust the semi-variable resistor VR101 (or VR102) so
that the electronic voltmeter reading becomes 580 mV.
DISPLAY ADJUSTMENT OF RECORD/PLAYBACK

. Adjust the sensitivity adjustment control
Perform this adjustment after making sure that the
electronic voltmeter reading is 580 mV as the result of the
playback sensitivity adjustment.

Insert a normal (non-recorded) tape into the unit.
Place the unit in record mode and check for the output
voltage between pins (8) and (5) of DIN socket.
Reproduce the tape which has been recorded in the above
step 3 and check for the output voltage between pins (3)
and (5) of DIN socket.
. Repeat the steps 3 and 4 several times and adjust the semi-
variable resistor VR203 (or VR204) so that the output
voltage is the same in record mode and playback mode.

Effectuer ce réglage aprés s‘étre assuré que le voltmétre
électronique en vienne & marquer 580 mV, comme
conséquence du réglage de la sensibilité de lecture.
. Régler la commande VR401 (ou VR402) de réglage de
sensibilité de sorte que la 4éme diode a lueurs du témoin
de niveau s’allume.

le mode de lecture.
