SOLENOID DRIVE CIRCUIT
This circuit consists of 1C104, Q105, Q106 and Q107, and ;
M : to solenoid <
drives the solenoids shown below. SCL101
1. Side A Tonearm Solenoid
When the cue key is pushed during side A playing, the
output signal from pin of the microcomputer becomes
high level to be applied to 1C104, where it is changed to be
at low level. Then the low level signal is applied to the side
A tonearm solenoid to get it in action. While the solenoid is cle
in action, the output signal from pin 43) of the micro-
computer is kept at low level for 1 second during which
Q105 turns off, Q107 turns on and Q107 turns on, and the fom Migros iS (% 4 +16V
resultant voltage (16V) attracts the solenoid. computer om
1 second later, pin 3) of the microcomputer becomes high Pin
level to turn off Q106, causing voltage (5V) to apply it via
R131 to the solenoid. In short, the solenoid attraction is
caused with the power of 16V first and then continues with Figure 30-1
the power of 5V.
2. Side B Tonearm Solenoid m2o2
When the cue key is pushed during side B playing the
output signal from pin of the microcomputer becomes ae
high level to be applied to 1C104, where it is changed to be
at low level. Then the low level signa! is applied to the side
B tonearm solenoid to get it in action. The same operation
as in 1 above occurs thereafter.
