13) Replace gear cover.
Final testing
Officially advice would be to replace unit covers, then plug in and switch on, testing drawer
movement.
Unofficially, ensure there are no exposed pieces of metal around, make sure your bench is clear and
plug in, test the drawer is working before unplugging and replacing the covers.
Do NOT attempt to remove or fit the covers when the mains cable is plugged in. there exposed
conductors inside the device, which if shorted out would do you and the record player no good at all,
and may even prove fatal for both.
