cartridge
forward
key
during
play.
The
cartridge
(stylus
tip)
will
come
off
the
record
and
move
to
the
beginning
of

next
program
and

playing
automatic-

there.
If
you
continue
to
push
the
cartridge
forward
key
at
the
time,
the
forward
APSS
operates
from
the
location
where
your
finger
was
removed
and
moves
the
cartridge
to
the
beginning
of
the
track
you
want
to
listen
to
and
start
playing
automatically
from
there.
Also
when
the
cartridge
forward
key
is
pushed
during
APMS
operation,
the
cartridge
moves
up
the
record
and
skips
forwardly
to
the
beginning
of
the
next
program
and
cancelled
by
pushing
the
key
again.

APMS
clear
key
Enables
to
clear
the
conditions
preset
for
APMS
operation.

Loading
key
Enables
to
open
or
close
the
turntable
chassis:
it
is
possible
even
when
the
chassis
is
opening
or
closing.
SENSOR
SECTION
1.
Turntable
chassis
open/close
sensor
There
are
two
skeleton
switches
to
detect
whether
the
chassis
is
opened
or
closed
in
the
following
way:
With
the
chassis
closed,
the
skeleton
switch
SW205
turns
on
while
the
skeleton
switch
SW204
turns
off.
With
the
chassis
opened,
the
switch
SW205
turns
off
while
the
switch
SW204
turns
on.
2.
Tonearm
rest
position
sensor
starts
playing
from
there.
Cartridge
reverse
key
Enables
to
move
the
cartridge
toward
the
optional
portion
3
on
a
record
(to
previous
programs).
The
cartridge
can
move
until
the
key
is
released,
and
after
once
stopping
there,
it
moves
down
to
the
record
if
the
play/cut
key
is
pushed.
Playing
will
begin
from
there.
The
reverse
APSS
operation
is
the
same
as
the
forward
APSS
operation
mentioned
above
with
the
only
dif-
ference
about
the
direction
of
locating
the
beginning
of
the
program
you
want
to
listen
to.
Also
when
the
cartridge
reverse
key
is
pushed
during
APMS
operation,
the
cartridge
moves
up
the
record
and
skips
reversely
to
the
beginning
of
the
previous
program
and
starts
playing
from
there.
Repeat
play
key
Enables
to
repeat
play
of
side
A
or
side
B.
The
repeat
play
The
photointerrupter
detects
that
the
tonearm
is
at
its
position
(at
right
for
side
A,
at
left
for
side
B).

Tonearm
position
sensor
When
the
tonearm
is
out
of
its
rest
position,
the
gear
drum
and
photointerrupter
operate
together
to
produce
pulses
to
detect
how
far
from
the
rest
position
the
tonearm
is
situ-
ated.
