4. Available settings include:
a. Com Port Default = COM5
b. Baud Rate Default = 19200
c. Data Bit Fixed at 8
d. Parity Bit Fixed at N
e. Stop Bit Fixed at 1
f. Hand Shaking Default = None
g. [Default] returns all settings to original values
h. [OK] to save changes
i. [Cancel] to exit without saving changes
6. MSR keyboard operation verification
You can test the MSR_KBD mode output when swiping a card.
1. Touch the windows [Start] button
2. Select Programs
3. Select Accessories
4. Select Notepad
5. Swipe the card in the MSR
The Magnetic Stripe Data from the card should display in Notepad
