right
and
left
channels
are
different,
adjust
with
the
BALANCE

sufficient
editing
time
(for
about

séconds)

elapsed,
press

The
space
is
now
edited
onto
the
cassette
tape
recording.

Slide
the
RECORD
LEVEL
control
to
the
original
posi-
tion
and
begin
recording
of
the
next
selection.
When
a
tape
that
has
already
been
recorded
on
is
used
to
record
anew,
the
formerly
recorded
section
or
sections
will
be
erased
automatically.
To
erase
a
recorded
tape
without
recording
anything
else
on
it,
the
following
procedure
is
used:

Insert
a
cassette
tape
to
be
erased
into
the
cassette
compart-
ment
of
Deck
2.

Press
the
@
button.
3
Set
the
RECORD
LEVEL
control
to
the
“0’’
position.
4
Press
the
button
to
begin
erasing.

The
tape
counter
is
set
at
“000”
by
pressing
the
reset
button
next
to
the
counter
at
the
beginning
of
each
cassette,
the
number
displayed
at
the
beginning
of
each
recorded
segment
can
be
noted
to
provide
a
convenient
tape
index.

counter
functions
for
Deck
2
only.
