Setting the Time for
Automatic Power Off
Available in w, [, ], ;, ', ,, . or = mode
When you do not operate the camera for a
certain period of time, the power turns off
automatically. Select the automatic power off
time.
1 Turn on the camera in the desired mode.
2 Press the MENU button until the menu
screen appears.
3 Press l or m to select “Z”, then press
the SET button.
4 Press l or m to select “AUTO POWER
OFF”, then press the SET button.
5 Press l or m to select the desired time
for powering off, then press the SET
button.
6 Press the MENU button to turn off the
menu screen.
Setting the File
Numbering Method
Available in w, [, ], ;, ', , or . mode
The camera automatically assigns file numbers
to captured images. You can select two
different methods of file numbering.
Types
SERIAL: Defines file numbers by
incrementing up from the last image
captured when inserting a new card
RESET: Defines a new set of file numbers
when inserting a new card
1 Turn on the camera in the desired mode.
2 Press the MENU button until the menu
screen appears.
3 Press l or m to select “Z”, then press
the SET button.
4 Press l or m to select “FILE
NUMBER”, then press the SET button.
5 Press l or m to select the desired
setting, then press the SET button.
6 Press the MENU button to turn off the
menu screen.
