5. COMMON PULSE adjustment
Test point TL1814 Address 88
Mode VCR AV input
Procedure 1) Set the data of address 85 at the address 80.
2) Input the white 100% signal as an AV input.
3) Connect the oscilloscope to TL1824, and adjust the pulse width.
Adjustment 6.3Vp-p ± 0.1Vp-p

7. White Balance adjustment
Test point LCD panel display surface Address 82, 83
Mode VCR AV input
Procedure 1) White fade signal input.
2) Adjust so as to get the same white fade screen as that of standard monitor.

8. DAC LCD_Y adjustment, DAC LCD_R-Y adjustment, DAC LCD_B-Y adjustment
Test point TL7820(Y OUT), TL7821(R-Y OUT), TL7822(B-Y OUT) Mode CAM
Address VCR ADJ 3D(Y), VCR ADJ 3E(R-Y), VCR ADJ 3F (B-Y)
Procedure 1) Change the address C0/C1/C2/C3/C9 to 90/EB/80/80/00.
2) Adjust the output voltage of TL7820 with the address 3D and the DC voltage with a digital voltmeter to the
adjustment standard value.
3) Adjust the output voltage of TL7821/TL7822 with the address 3E/3F and the DC voltage with a digital voltmeter
to the adjustment standard value. (The same as (2))
4) Return the address C0/C1/C2/C3/C9 to its former state.
Note: When changing C9 FF to 00, the OSD display of LCD/VF disappears. Observing the monitor output, make
the adjustment. Be sure to return it to FF after adjustment.
Adjustment 0.450V ± 5mV (Y OUT), 0.252V ± 2mV (R-Y OUT), 0.319V ± 2mV (B-Y OUT)

6. COM-BIAS adjustment
Test point LCD panel daisplay surface Address 8A
Mode VCR AV input
Procedure 1) Input the white 40% signal as an AV input, and set data of address 85 at the address 80.
2) Set the illuminometer (TOPCON IM-3) on the LCD panel surface (do not allow entry of external light).
(Shut off the external light.)
3) Connect the illuminometer to the oscilloscope.
4) Make an adjustment so as to minimize the ripple of output waveform.
Response time: 0.6 sec
5) Adjust again if longitudinal stripe appears evidently.
* Or set to the point where the black is settled deepest with the grey scale signal.
